These terms apply to the CCL Mate app and the website cclmate.com (together, "CCL Mate"). By using CCL Mate you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use CCL Mate.
1. What CCL Mate is
CCL Mate is an independent practice tool for people preparing for the NAATI Credentialed Community Language (CCL) test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). NAATI alone sets, runs and marks the CCL test. Always check NAATI's website for the current test rules.
2. No guarantee of results
CCL Mate helps you practise, but we cannot guarantee that you will pass the CCL test or receive any migration points or visa outcome. Mock-test scores and feedback are estimates produced by artificial intelligence for practice only. They are not official results and may not match how a NAATI examiner would mark you.
3. Content
We work hard to make the vocabulary, sentences, dialogues, translations and recordings accurate and professional, and we check them carefully. Language is complex and mistakes can still occur. If you find an error, please tell us at support@cclmate.com and we will fix it. Information about Australian services in the practice material is for language practice and is not legal, migration, medical or financial advice.
4. Your use of CCL Mate
You may use CCL Mate for your own personal, non-commercial study. You must not copy, resell, redistribute or publish its content, recordings or software; attempt to extract its content in bulk; interfere with its services (including the AI marking service); or use it in a way that breaks the law.
5. Your language
CCL Mate is set up for the one language you choose when you first open the app. That language is downloaded to your device so the app works offline.
6. Intellectual property
The CCL Mate name, logo, app, website, and all practice content and recordings are owned by CCL Mate or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. "NAATI" is a registered trade mark of the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd, used here only to describe the test CCL Mate helps you prepare for.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, improve, suspend or change CCL Mate or these terms. Features that need the internet, such as AI marking, may occasionally be unavailable. If we change these terms in a significant way, we will tell you in the app or on this website.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, CCL Mate is otherwise provided "as is", and our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
