About the CCL Persian test
NAATI lists Persian among its 55 CCL languages. The format is the same for every language: two recorded dialogues of about 300 words, split into segments of 35 words or fewer, which you interpret between English and Persian in both directions. How to prepare for CCL Persian
- Learn the words by topic. Missing or wrong terms cost marks, so learn the right Persian word for each medical, legal or housing idea. Short daily sessions with spaced review help them stick.
- Interpret out loud. Listen to a sentence, wait for the chime, and start saying it in the other language within 5 seconds, then compare with the model answer.
- Sit full mock tests. Two full dialogues in the CCL format show where you lose marks: omissions, wrong terms or long pauses. See how to pass CCL.

Is there a free CCL Persian mock test?

Yes. Each dialogue is about half in English and half in Persian, so you interpret in both directions, in segments of 35 words or fewer, and you must start within 5 seconds of the chime.

Yes. The online practice works in any phone or computer browser, and the Android app is in early access on Google Play.
